has its main Manufacturing Plant at
Rakanpur, just 6 km from Ahmedabad.
The plant has total plot area of 13000
sq. meters and Built up area of 3000
sq.m. It is based on Pre Engineered
Structured Steel Building with color
coated roofing & cladding system.
This plant has many advantages like
quick installation, all components and
parts relocatable & reusable, pleasing
appearance and easy to maintain also.
This plant is weatherproof and earthquake-proof
with only steel structure. All dept.
like Sales, Engineering, Purchase, Accounts,
Service, R&D, Electronics &
computer are also located here. ERP
system and LAN Connected computers are
installed for effective co-ordination
between various departments.

R&D / Design
Prima has a well-set design department,
with a fleet of qualified and experienced
engineers. Prima has a dynamic design
team and it has developed more than
100 designs till date. Our designs are
working in almost all fields like Printing,
Plastic, Construction, Compressor, Pumps,
Pharmaceuticals, Machine tools, Wind
Energy, Engineering, and Process etc.

All developments take into consideration

Purchase & Stores
Prima
has well-set Material
Management Dept. with Internet facilities.
The department looks after material procurement,
vendor development & planning. They
also look after vendor rating cost reduction,
import substitution. Purchase requisitions
are raised by Engineering and other departments
and Purchase department processes orders,
monitor and closes them. Email is extensively
used to reduce time.
Store is also well organized &
fully equipped to store more than 3000
categories of items. A unique part
number identifies each item. Computer
monitors receipt and issue transactions.
Stock figures are always available online
Fabrication,
Painting & Assembling
The design is finally materialized on
shop floor. The main stages are fabrication,
Painting, Assembly, Wiring and Testing.
The Fabrication shop is equipped with
Hydraulic Bending and Sheering Machines,
Power Press, Welding machines, Power Hacksaw,
Grinding M/c. and lot of dies & fixtures
to make cutouts in the panel. The painting
shop is equipped with seven tank pre-treatment
process, oven and material handling as
well as spray-painting facility.
Size of tanks is 2.5 M X 1.5 M X 3 M.
The assembly shop is equipped with automatic
tapping machines, electrical / pneumatic
drilling M/c, torque wrenches, Electronic
Label Printing Machines, riveting machines
and many hand tools.
All Panels are assembled and wired here.
The customized electronic instruments
come from Electronic Department and Software
from InfoTech Department.
Electronic Department
This Department is responsible to produce
Electronics Instruments and Control Components
required in the panel. The instruments
are customized as per customer’s requirement
for cost reduction and uniqueness. The
Department has been run by qualified Engineers,
Technicians and R&D engineers. Latest
technology is used and manpower is constantly
trained. Micro controller based instruments
are mainly manufactured. Facilities
like Oven, Signal Injectors, Oscilloscope,
Programming Units, Computers, and Simulators
etc. Are available.
Quality control
It includes Quality Management systems
based on ISO
9001:2000. It begins from inspection
of incoming materials ending to dispatch
of final products. Quality conscious team
of engineers having latest testing equipments
ensures Quality Products. ISO
9001:2000 QC system is approved by BVQI,
London.
Prima is equipped with the latest testing
equipment’s viz, Primary and Secondary
current injection test kits, High Voltage
Test Equipment, Meggers, Logic simulation
tester, dead weight tester, temperature
calibration facilities, current &
voltage simulator, variable power supply
source, oscilloscope, precision multi-
meters and Computerized test bench.
Logistic
To manage day-to-day dispatch Prima has
well developed Logistics Department. The
department takes care of packing, forwarding
and safe transportation of material to
our customers. Facilities like Fixed and
moving cranes, pallet trucks, carpentry
shop etc. are available.
Customer Care Department
An efficient setup with well-qualified
team of experienced and trained Service
Engineers along with requisite inventories
ensures that customer requirements and
problems are noted, attended and solved
within customer’s time frame.
Servicing is provided in any part of India
and also abroad. All necessary parts are
stocked at Prima’s Service Center and
are made available to customers at any
time. To facilitate our customer, all
the records related to design and commercial
matters are maintained electronically.
We are also having a unique Customer Care
Center, to serve our valued customers
in a better way. This Center gives support
on Internet and also takes care of all
the suggestions received from customer.
